MTech/Capabilities/Field awareness

Knowledge that meets you at the machine.

What if the knowledge you needed could meet you at the exact moment you needed it? Ordinary-looking safety glasses give the system a view of the work, and bring the company’s history, procedures and expertise to the person doing it.

Chapter 01 · The visit

From alert to
verified repair.

A simulated compressor failure on a rooftop unit, start to finish. Watch the technician work while your field management software and the digital team respond on the same job. Open “What just happened?” at any point for the detail.

Works with your field management software

Your field management software supplies the job and receives the record. MTech guides the work, coordinates the response and checks the evidence.

Your field management software

The field service platform: assets and service history, visits and work orders, and the official record of every job.

MTech contributes

The intelligence working inside it: field awareness through the glasses, digital coworkers, AI QC, and the architecture that connects them.

Chapter 02 · Understanding the work
Before the repair

Arrive anywhere.
Know what you’re looking at.

You’re at a facility you have never visited. You know the customer has a problem. You may not know where the equipment is, which version it is, what happened last visit, or what is unusual about this site. The experience begins before the repair.

How the unit is identified
Choose how the unit is identified.
What it sees, and what it can’t

Three kinds of evidence,
brought together.

The system combines what the person sees with information the person can’t directly see. Each source contributes something different, and the experience is honest about which is which.

The camera

What is visible

The equipment, its components and labels, the condition of parts, where the technician is and what they’re working on.

Connected sensors

What can’t be seen

Temperature, pressure, vibration, gas and other conditions, measured by instruments on the equipment or on site.

The job record

What should be happening

The work order, the approved scope, the procedure and the requirements this job has to meet.

A camera can’t detect gas.

Understanding the scene doesn’t reveal an invisible leak. A gas sensor supplies that measurement; the glasses help locate it and guide the person away from it.

Seeing a lock isn’t proof of isolation.

Recognizing a lockout device shows it is there. Confirming hazardous energy is isolated takes the right readings and the procedure’s own checks.

Vibration

Gets attention

Reaches someone who is looking somewhere else, or working somewhere too loud to hear.

Audio

Explains

Says what the issue is and what to do, without the person having to stop and read.

Visual overlay

Locates

On suitable hardware, points to the component or area that matters, right where it is.

A working companion

Ask it anything
about the job.

The system answers from the identified equipment, the approved procedures, the job’s requirements and the evidence so far. When information conflicts, or the situation is outside what it reliably knows, it says so and brings in a person who does.

The technician asks
Choose a question.

The value is putting more of the organization’s experience within reach of the person doing the work, including the experience of the one colleague who has seen this exact problem before.

Chapter 03 · Proof as you go
Documentation, done on site

Get it right while
you’re still standing there.

The system knows what this job needs to be documented: which component to photograph, from which angle, and which readings to take. It checks each capture for clarity and content as it happens.

This job needs
    Fewer return trips

Missing photos and readings are caught before the panel goes back on.

    Less reconstruction

Notes and evidence are captured as the work happens, not remembered afterwards.

    A better next visit

Everything is attached to the right asset, so the next person starts informed.

    Closing a job

    The system closes
    the job.

Five checks run before a work order can close, each one done by the system while the crew is still on site.

    Work confirmed

AI confirms from the photo that the right work was done.

    Lockout confirmed

Sensors confirm the lockout is in place and valid.

    Photos checked

Every photo is checked the moment it is taken.

    Proof and safety pass

Closure opens once both conditions are met.

    Fixed on site

Anything missing is caught and corrected before the crew leaves.

Chapter 04 · Keeping people safe
    Keeping the work safe

    See. Judge.
    Then gate the work.

Every step, every photo and every job advances on proof the system has checked.

    See

The camera in the glasses, a phone or a tablet captures what is actually in front of the technician.

    Fuse

Readings from gas, pressure, air-quality and equipment sensors are combined with what the camera sees.

    Judge

AI checks the scene and the readings against the job’s requirements and the safety conditions.

    Gate

If a check fails, the step stays locked. Work, photos and closure wait until the condition is met.

    Three situations

    Three jobs,
    one pair of glasses.

Switch modes to see what appears in the lens: guidance on the equipment, a safety gate before the work, and proof checked on the spot.

    Chapter 05 · How it’s built
    One intelligence, many interfaces

    The glasses are
    a window into more.

The glasses are an interface to a larger intelligence system. Simple hardware already gives useful awareness; more capable hardware adds spatial guidance and richer interaction. The same system reaches across devices.

    Camera and haptics

Awareness without a display: the system sees the work and taps the wearer when it matters.

    Audio

Questions and answers by voice, hands still on the job.

    Augmented display

Spatial guidance, overlays on components, and shared views for remote experts.

    Phones and tablets

The same guidance and capture for crews without glasses.

    Sensors and systems

Equipment, site sensors and business systems feeding one shared picture of the job.

    How it’s built

    From the lens
    to the control room.

Three layers. Decisions that can’t wait happen on site; the heavy lifting happens in the cloud. Sensors across the location feed one picture of what is happening.

    On the wearer

    Glasses, phone or tablet

A display over the field of view, a camera and depth sensors, motion sensing, and optional biometrics for stress and fatigue.

    On site

    Edge processing

Computer vision and the safety engine run close to the work, so a hazard warning never waits on a signal from far away.

    In the cloud

    Control and records

Model updates, work orders, analytics, remote supervision and a complete record of what was verified.

Chapter 06 · Learning and reach
    Learning and doing

    From practice to the field,
    and back again.

The same procedure, terminology and evidence requirements follow a person from rehearsal into real work. And what the field learns can make its way back to everyone.

    Rehearse

Practice the procedure in a simulated environment, with the same guidance used on site.

    Perform

Receive guidance while performing an authorized task on real equipment.

    Reflect

Get feedback afterwards on what went well and what was missed.

    Propose

A useful discovery on a real job is captured as a proposed improvement.

    Review and share

The person who owns that knowledge reviews it. Approved improvements become available to everyone.

Observed behavior doesn’t automatically become a company rule. Every lasting change to a procedure goes through a person who owns that knowledge.

    Where it reaches

    Anywhere work must
    be proven before it counts.

Written for field operations, and broad enough for any work where safety and proof matter more than a signature.

    Oil & gas

    Wellsites and platforms

Valve and wellhead service with guidance on the equipment and every step confirmed by camera.

    Industrial safety

    Plants and tank farms

Invisible leaks found by fused sensor readings, with hazard zones drawn in the lens.

    Construction

    Active job sites

Pre-lift checklists, exclusion zones and a coordinated pause when a protocol is skipped.

    Field service

    Maintenance crews

Preventive maintenance proven with validated photos before a work order can close.

Familiar safety glasses, with intelligence in every view.

The camera and sensors sit quietly in the frame. Crews get the help without extra hardware in the way, and nothing new to get used to.
